WCPSS Mask Update for 3/7/22

EXPLORER UPDATE FOR 3/7/22

Explorer Families,

Tomorrow marks another new step as we navigate the pandemic. I can clearly recall this week, 2 years ago, when many of us thought we would be having a short break from school! Two years later, we have been through so much as a school community. I expect that the full range of emotions will exist for people as they enter the building, including joy, anxiety, relief, apprehension, and confusion.

Just as our students, families, and staff have worked together, each step of the way, tomorrow will be no different. Please know that we have already started preparing the students for the facemask change. On the school news this past week, we have shared how each family will make the best decision for themselves and their students. In fact, each morning over the past few months we have shared when rules in the community have changed, they should follow your family’s rules.

I said to the students and staff that because of their hard work and support for each other, tomorrow’s change is possible.

I encourage you to review the updated information that we sent last week for more  with reminders about how we will continue to navigate COVID-19.

Sincerely,
Tim Chadwick
Principal
